Background:
The annual output of aquatic products of our country is maintained above 65 million tons for many years. In 2021, China's total output of aquatic products reached 66,902,900 tons, an increase of 2.16 percent over the previous year.The output of seawater products was 33.872,400 tons, up 2.20 percent year on year, and that of freshwater products was 33.030,500 tons, up 2.11 percent year on year. For two consecutive years, Guangdong has maintained the position of the first major fishery province in China, with the total output of aquatic products and aquaculture ranking the first in China.
